Non-perishable items are the main food items we deliver to our clients. You or your family, group, class, troop, church or business can help the LIFE by collecting non-perishable food items or holding your own food drive. Examples of non-perishable items include
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Canned beans
- Rice or rice dishes
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Crackers or cookies
Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Food Pantry during normal pantry hours or to the collection bins located inside the doors of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
A list of weekly items needed at the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry are posted on our FaceBook page and on the Weekly Wish List page.
Perishable items can ONLY be dropped off at the Food Pantry during normal pantry hours. Examples of perishable items include:
- Cottage Cheese
- Sour Cream
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Freezer meals
