Your Trust Matters: Keeping Your Info Safe When You Give

brosenfield · July 25, 2025 ·

A recent survey by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance found that nearly 70% of donors worry their personal information might be stolen or shared when giving to a new charity. In fact, 80% said they would stop or delay giving if their favorite charity experienced a data breach.

LIFE Food Pantry takes your privacy seriously. That’s why we use Harness, a trusted and secure giving platform that keeps your information private and protected. We never see, save, or have access to your financial information.

As online giving grows, so do concerns — especially around how charities handle donor data. But here’s the good news: You can support LIFE with confidence, knowing your generosity is protected every step of the way.

Ways to Help This Summer

brosenfield · July 25, 2025 ·

Meijer Simply Give Campaign
Shop and support! When you purchase a Simply Give donation card at the Fields Ertel Meijer during the campaign period, they match it dollar for dollar. These funds go directly to our pantry’s purchasing power, helping us buy exactly what our neighbors need most.

Buy a Raffle Ticket at The Butcher Block
Buy a ticket in person or online for your chance at a quarter cow and chest freezer! Tickets are just $25 each, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit us! Sales end 7/31.

Donate from Your Home Garden
If your garden is overflowing, we’d love to help share your bounty! We gratefully accept fresh produce such as tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and herbs. Fresh produce is a welcome and nutritious addition for our pantry guests, especially during the summer when fruits and vegetables are at their peak.
